OUR INSPIRATIONAL STORY
HumaNest Migration Corp. is a Calgary, Alberta, based Immigration and Refugee Law advisory and consulting firm. Founded in 2009 as Acici Immigration Consulting & Legal Services Inc., ten years later the company changed its name to HumaNest – a somewhat double meaning word coined to encapsulate its present-day mission and vision. Our consulting practice has helped hundreds of foreigners to achieve their dream of migrating to Canada for the prospect of a safer and peaceful life. Since our inception in 2009, we have practiced under a vast array of Canadian immigration and refugee laws chief among which are refugee class, family class, economic class, visitors, and temporary residents’ class. As well, we have over 12 years’ experience in providing effective representation to clients who appear before all divisions of the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada. Employing culturally diverse staff, we serve customers in English, Tigrinya, Amharic, Arabic, and Somali languages. We aspire to serve a more diverse clientele by hiring qualified professionals who have a command of other required languages. Salam Nazo BSc.
Salam immigrated to Canada in 2014 as a skilled worker and holds a BSc. in Architecture. She started working in the immigration field since she came to Canada. She became a member of Humanest Migration Corp. family in November 2014. Being an immigrant herself, she became so passionate about helping other people to find their future nest in Canada. With more than 8 years of experience in the immigration field, she decided to pursue her education and she became an immigration consultant herself, so that she can be more involved in helping other people. Salam holds an Immigration Practitioner Certificate from Bowvalley College. She is a member in good standing of the the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC).

Sannia Taha BA, MA
In-depth knowledge and rich background in law. She has a Master's degree in public law and over 10 years of experience in law in Sudan. With her extensive background in law, she pursued her education in Canada and got her license as a paralegal. Being an immigrant herself, she shifted her practice towards immigration field. Throughout her legal career, she has utilized her strong ability in focusing on details and mastering duties of confidential and sensitive matter in a professional way. She holds a diploma in Immigration Consulting from Herzing College. She is a member in good standing of the the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC).

Binyam joined the team in Sept. 2017 as a Legal Administrative Assistant. He assists in drafting applications for Group of Five and spousal sponsorships, citizenship, permanent residence cards and travel documents. He communicates with diverse clients that have various understanding levels about immigration. He values accuracy, thoroughness, and effective writing in preparing application packages. He anticipates further diversity and specialization in the services that the Corporation offers, and he looks forward to taking over tasks related to Economic Class applications in due course. He continues to enjoy being a part of a close-knit team that collaborates seamlessly for a higher quality of service delivery.
